Holiday Tabletop: The Bernardaud Noel Collection

The time to dust off your holiday decorations is fast approaching – but do not take out your seasonal china quite yet. After 21 years, Bernardaud has retired their holiday collection only to introduce the Noel pattern. The delicate pattern embodies the sparkle that can only equate to that of freshly popped champagne or the sparkle of stars.

Handcrafted in France of fine Limoges porcelain, each piece is decorated with a charming motif. No matter if you are serving traditional, family recipes or trying the latest food trend, this pattern will only elevate the presentation – complimenting any seasonal theme.

The service and bread and butter plates look as though they have captured the evening’s stars on their porcelain surface. With delicate, golden sparkles, this design gives the warmth that can only come from the intricate use of gold tones.

The dinner plate then takes that same luminous glow and scatters ruby-red stars and a golden leaflet type pattern around the dish. Lively and bustling with character, but delicate enough to allow the content to shine as well.

For a consistent theme, that same motif can be utilized for a cohesive look on the salad/dessert plate – the only additive being a delightfully dainty tree in the center. Also, for whimsical pops of color, there are alternatively green and red-spotted motifs as well.

Let us not forget the soup bowls, often a favorite holiday course, that we offer in both the gold and red patterns.

These motifs can be mixed and matched as well as alternating different central designs. Trees, gifts, sleds, or a roaring chimney can bring holiday cheer to anyone at your table this year.

The new year is not far behind either, so what could be better than kicking off the holiday season with brand new china.
