Unique Recipes for Your Thanksgiving Menu

Thanksgiving will be here in a blink of an eye – putting quite the time crunch on menu preparation. Do not fret! We have found the perfect recipes and presentation for your dinner table!

How can you not start with the star of the show? The turkey is always the main event and the umami nature of a porcini mushroom gravy will take it to that next level. Cooked to a gorgeous brown, herbs are what will make this dish pop both aesthetically and with flavor. The gravy itself consists of mushrooms, garlic, shallots, white wine, stock, heavy whipping cream, parsley, and fresh mint. Silver is a perfect canvas to balance the earth tones of this dish. Christofle’s Jardin d’Eden silverplated trays have such intricate designs that they also will garner attention on their own. The verdant pattern, created by designer Marcel Wanders, is characterized by interlacing vines, plants, and flowers, named after the most famous garden in history.

The only dish that can hold a candle to the notoriety of the turkey would have to be the stuffing. This embrace covered in a weighted, caloric blanket can bring more joy in one bite than five other dishes combined. Herbs are a necessity during the holidays – and Bon Appetit’s classic herb and fennel stuffing will dictate just that. This mouth-watering recipe combines many of the base ingredients used to flavor the gravy with the addition of even more herbs and a fan favorite – bread. To go along with the matching flavors, why not highlight this dish with more sterling silver? Buccellati’s large oak leaf dish adds the perfect fall accent to the table. The texture of the oak dish will complement that of the stuffing and offer an overall rustic look.

Of course, no dinner is complete without greens. Our first vegetable choice is tangy lime and pistachio brussels sprouts. These sprouts border a sweet and sour balance with a beautiful roasted flavor. The colors of the dish will pop paired with William Yeoward’s crystal Harlequine footed bowl. This bowl is mouthblown, handmade, and hand-cut with dramatic flat cuts.

While brussels sprouts are not everyone’s favorite, parsnip could be a mild alternative. Taking it up a notch, consider parsnip confit with pickled currants. This high-end side would look lovely in Baccarat’s mouthblown Arabesque bowls.

For our vegan diners, nothing will be more divine than a vegan sweet potato casserole with maple pecan topping. Both salty and sweet, this dish can almost qualify as a dessert.

Or if you want a true dessert, Country Living’s pumpkin pecan bread pudding would be completely decadent. No matter that decision, our exclusive Gizelle Crystal Footed Bowl offers a charming motif hand-painted around the sides of the bowl featuring a variety of local Bavarian flora – the colors make a beautiful contrast. The mouthblown crystal is handmade in Germany, hand-cut with clean facets along the stem, and the bowl and base are rimmed with hand-painted 24k gold.

With so many beautiful dishes, both food and china/crystal, it may seem almost impossible to pick china. Once again, we have already thought ahead! Juliska’s Berry & Thread collection offers the perfect motif to present such vibrant dishes. Inspired by the historic motifs of Bohemian glassware, the whitewash glazed stoneware is rimmed with a simple thread motif and adorned with berry detailing – making it perfect for any occasion as well.

Even with the holidays fast approaching, we are always here to make it all the easier.
